Trips

Fraser Coast 4WD Club is an active club with members leading several trips per month. Membership enables our four-wheel-drive families access to all members-only events. All our trips and events are rated so members can assess suitability of their skill level and the capabilities of their four-wheel-drive.

Social events and easy to medium drives are rated (green circle and blue square), for example the annual Christmas light runs, barbeques, camp outs and beach drives. These trips can be for members and visitors.

Members only trips rated (single black diamond) have more challenging terrain, such as bush drives and can include hill climbs and creek crossings. Limited vehicle modifications are required.

​

Low range trips (double black diamond rated) to destinations such as the Glass House Mountains, Amamoor, The Springs 4x4 Park and the like are for experienced members and require more extensive modifications to vehicles.

Our club is proud to take part in several environmental clean-up events throughout the year. These include, the annual K'gari - Fraser Island Clean Up where we, along with other four-wheel-drive clubs within the 4WD QLD Association join together in May to clean the beaches and foreshores of the Island.  We also join with the Environmental Divers to clean the Inskip Point area over a weekend in March every year. Annually on the Fraser Coast, the club conducts a clean up on World Clean Up Day in September.
